Bob Burnquist inaugurates Lake Tahoe skate park in California

 


Located in the center of Lake Tahoe, the largest accumulation of fresh water in the Sierra Nevada, in the eastern part of the state of California. It is the ideal place for the practice of numerous aquatic sports, activity that supposes the main economic activity in the zone.


A huge skate park is kept floating on its waters. While the professional skateboarding Bob Burnquist, slides covering the ten meters of distance that there is between the means, and that swings slightly to each tracing, that sometimes ends up directly sinking in the bottom of the lake.


Skatehouse Skatepark is an innovator with a newly built skate bowl. With a quality of craftsmanship second to none. The basin is constructed in a way that makes it fun for beginners, while being large enough for more experienced veterans to find unique layouts.


Because of the materials and characteristics of the water track, Bob was called in who presents an ideal profile for this type of track, as Burnquist's specialty is changing stances on the skateboard. Trying to find new ways to make his tricks always more creative. 


A WORLD CHAMPION SKATEBOARDING ON THE LAKE

Known for having collaborated in the development of video games of this as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, participating in all deliveries of the famous saga except Pro Skater 3. This was because of problems with the rights of the license appearing as a guest star in another video game dedicated to urban sports called, X-Games Skateboarding.

Designed by the tandem of local designers, the rink took about ten days to set up. It is part of the tourism campaign called Dream Big California which aims to promote alternative tourist destinations.
